ISOLATION

Perth is the world’s most secluded town. Flying to Bali is faster than flying to Sydney. Sometimes you’re going to feel homesick, and sometimes no matter how much the sun shines, how good the coffee is, and how green the mountains are, the feeling of missing your beloved home that you may experience is eventual; you are far from all your loved ones back in Oman. If you are pleased with most of the moments of the life you have created for yourself in Perth and you know that overall you have made the right decision, then the wave of homesickness will pass. Things like Skype and low cost airfares make this easy.
